Alte Fotos sind nicht nur schöne Erinnerungsstücke, sondern oft auch historische Zeugnisse. Manchmal lohnt es sich, eine historische Fotografie wieder aufzupäppeln, auch wenn es – wie in diesem Fall – mit erheblichem Aufwand verbunden ist. Das vorliegende Foto hatte starke Knicke, war an mehreren Stellen perforiert, sehr ausgeblichen und fleckig. An den Perforationen und zum Teil an den Knicken fehlte die Bildinformation.
